ENERGY STAR® is a voluntary energy efficiency program sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

HP also received the ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Sustained Excellence award in the Product Brand Owner category for the 2nd year. This “Sustained Excellence” designation is a recognition of HP’s ongoing commitment to improving the energy efficiency of its products.
- In 2021, HP received an ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Sustained Excellence award for the second time. This is the 4th year in a row that HP has won a Partner of the Year award from the EPA.
- According to the EPA, the Sustained Excellence Award is given to partners that have already received ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year recognition for a minimum of two consecutive years and have gone above and beyond the criteria needed to qualify for recognition.
- Award winners hail from small, family-owned businesses to Fortune 500 organizations—representing energy-efficient products, services, new homes, and buildings in the commercial, industrial, and public sectors.
