On March 31, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced that HP was the recipient of an ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Sustained Excellence award in the Product Brand Owner category. This is the 3rd year that HP has won this award, with the “Sustained Excellence” designation a recognition of HP’s ongoing commitment to improving the energy efficiency of its products.
- This is the first time that HP has received an ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Sustained Excellence award. This is the 3rd year in a row that HP has won a Partner of the Year award from the EPA.
- According to the EPA, the Sustained Excellence Award is given to partners that have already received ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year recognition for a minimum of two consecutive years and have gone above and beyond the criteria needed to qualify for recognition.
- Award winners hail from small, family-owned businesses to Fortune 500 organizations—representing energy-efficient products, services, new homes, and buildings in the commercial, industrial, and public sectors.
