HP owns and leases facilities around the world. At our 159 sites in 56, we are taking action to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, energy consumption, water withdrawal, and waste generation.

The key performance indicators we measure in HP Operations are:

  • Employees diversity, equity, and inclusion—Approximately 50,8001 employees worldwide power HP’s innovation, contributing unique perspectives and a growth mindset to create breakthrough technologies and transformative solutions. We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace that attracts, retains and advances exceptional talent. At HP, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) is a business imperative
  • GHG emissions—Most of our GHG emissions from operations are related to the energy used to power our facilities. We measure and report GHG emissions in tons (written as tonnes) of CO2e (or carbon dioxide equivalent)
  • GHG emissions intensity—Describes the energy efficiency performance of our operations. Measured in tonnes of CO2e per million U.S. dollars of net revenue
  • Water withdrawal—We measure and report water consumption in m3 (cubic meters)
  • Waste generation—We measure and report waste generation in tonnes
