For select desktops and notebooks, HP offers multi-unit eco-packaging which packages multiple units into a slimmed-down, single packaging solution. These multi-unit packaging solutions typically result in less overall packaging material usage, a lighter shipping load, and increased shipping densities, all of which lead to significant carbon emission reductions via transport.

HP Commercial Desktops, All-in-One’s, Thin Clients, and Workstations are currently orderable with some form of bulk packaging, whether it be a 2-unit pack or a 10-unit pack.

By shipping more than 56,000 notebooks, over 184,000 desktop PCs, and about 1,300 workstations in bulk (where several products share one package), HP reduced packaging materials by 815 tonnes in 2021, while also decreasing GHG emissions associated with packaging and transportation.

Streamlining large rollouts is possible with our desktop Multi-unit/Eco-packaging service. This fee-based service is available in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and it can accommodate the following:

  • Towers (TWR)
  • Small form factor (SFF) desktops
  • Ultra-small form factor (USFF) desktops
  • Microtowers (MT)
  • Desktop minis (DM)
