Please go to http://hp.com/recycle in order to order free recycling materials from the HP Planet Partners program in order to return your print cartridge to HP. All HP cartridges returned to HP Planet Partners go through a multiphase recycling process where materials are separated and refined for use as raw material in new Original HP cartridges and everyday products.
